In this role, you will be located in our flagship office in Copenhagen and sit with the banking function which currently consists of 40+ skilled team members.

In this role, you will:

Guide a team of compliance professionals, instilling a high-performance mindset and fostering professional growth.
Steer the helm of compliance across all our operations, conducting the annual risk analysis and overseeing compliance activities.
Serve as the linchpin for compliance matters related to credit, consumer protection, investment, marketing, product development, and governance.
Work hand-in-hand with the Chief Risk Officer, ensuring seamless interaction between the business and second-line functions.
Be the first point of contact for regulatory agencies, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
Lead the implementation and management of avant-garde compliance technology solutions.
Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in compliance management, driving progressive enhancements to our compliance program.
Champion and nurture a culture of integrity, transparency, and ethical behavior throughout the organization.

What we need you to have:

Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a proven track record in motivating, mentoring, inspiring, and gaining the trust of team members
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, management, and colleagues across multiple locations
Extensive experience in banking, particularly in compliance regulation, backed by a strong educational background in a relevant field
A proactive individual with a growth mindset, ready to navigate the dynamic landscape of compliance within banking
Solid regulatory understanding of banking requirements, demonstrating proven leadership within Compliance
