You will be working with the Finance and Regulatory side of our business. An absolute essential part of our digital banking business.

You will be responsible for the roadmap related to the Finance & Regulatory colony. That is, help develop and align the goals and requirements of the colony.

You will be part of the quarterly planning process securing that the items on the roadmap always support both the ongoing development across the organisation as well as the specific items directly related to the progress of the specific area. One example - A best in class Financial Data Mart related to integrating financial systems and regulatory reporting while supporting our finance & regulatory operations.

The mission of the colony is to empower financial decisions with real-time data insights and streamlined reporting, enhancing compliance and strategic financial management.

Main Responsibilities, and typical day to day

You own the Product backlog and deliverables on a day to day basis for the squad.
Ensure alignment on strategic and tactical deliverables while creating sustainable products
Ensure all squads know what domain and bounded contexts they are accountable for through deep vertical domain responsibility
Reporting to Authorities: Be the Subject Matter Experts to stay informed about reporting requirements for tax reporting in DK/NO/SE markets.
Collaborate with the reporting domain Squad to ensure technical elements are capable of collecting and transmitting data accurately to authorities.
Data Quality and Compliance: Ensure data quality and customer core data are captured in accordance with authority requirements and to ensure we can submit the required reports to authorities or the customers.
Direct Customer Reporting: Take ownership of FeeStatement and AccountStatement reports, ensuring they are sent to customers annually. Maintain a proactive approach to stay updated on current and future reporting requirements, aligning with new product launches and organisational capabilities.
Drive the development of new reporting solutions and provide Subject Matter Expert knowledge to ensure high quality implementation.
Review internal operations and procedures to ensure continuous improvement of reporting accuracy and completeness. When needed suggest new procedures for improving the collection of tax information. It can require working with large financial data sets.
Implement internal policies, procedures, and automatic controls for operational handling of regulatory reporting.
Supporting commercial projects where regulatory reporting is part of the service offering.
Experience that would help make you successful in this role

You are motivated by being the expert in this field and the go-to person for questions about Regulatory Reporting and also in building up second to none platforms to secure financial reporting. You gladly communicate about this internally as well as keep an eye open for industry happenings.
Ability to find a common language with core stakeholders to define requirements and explain the why. You need to be able to formulate the problem, inform the parties needed to solve it, and drive the execution.
A proactive approach to staying up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices.
Experience in reporting is a plus, preferably in a complex organization with exposure to regulatory reporting for DK/NO/SE markets.
Nice-to-haves
Proven track record as a Product Owner, Specialist, Business Analyst or similar within the financial services industry.
Master’s degree in law, accounting, business economics, or related field on similar level.
Great leadership skills executed through directly and indirectly management
Structured, detail-oriented, analytical and self-motivated. Someone with focus on effective problem solving while working with tight deadlines.
